Want to find the copy that's actually converting? Instead of guessing what resonates with your audience, let's pull the data and find patterns in what's working.
Setting up your copy analysis
Start with a new top performing report.
Select Group by >> Copy
Select Group by Copy
Choose your date range (Last 14 days is a great starting point)
Switch to Card view — way easier to scan the actual copy quickly
Add your metrics
Here's what we recommend (to start):
Spend
ROAS — or the metric you care about most, ex. Cost per lead, CPA, etc.
CTR (outbound) — clicks to your landing page or site
CTR (all) — all clicks on your ad
See more rate — this one is gold for copy analysis. It shows how many people are curious enough to click "see more" and read your full caption
Look for copy themes
Now you can spot patterns across all of your copy based on performance. Some ideas of what to look for:
Emojis that trigger more engagement
Hooks that stop the scroll (shocking language, curiosity gaps, relatable pain points)
Specific phrases or formats that consistently perform
Remember: you're looking for themes for further testing, not just individual winners.
Digging deeper into a specific copy group
Scroll down to the table view in your report, and you'll see how many ads are running for each copy group. You can click ad breakdown to see:
All the ads running with that copy
Open any ad directly in the ad platform if you need to make changes or take a closer look
Analyze individual ad performance while keeping the bigger picture in view.
