Want to share the insights you're getting from Motion with others? There are several easy ways to share your reports and findings outside the platform. Let's walk through your options.
Copy and paste functionality
The simplest way to share insights is using Motion's copy functionality. Here's how it works:
Navigate to your report (like a top-performing report)
Apply any filters you need (for example, spend over $1,000, ROAS above 2)
Customize the view to show exactly the metrics you want
Add any AI tags if needed
Right-click (or Control+click on Mac) on any creative to choose what to copy:
Copy the card - includes both metrics and tags
Copy the creative - just the creative asset
Once you click copy and see the confirmation message, you can paste directly into your slide deck or document. It takes just seconds!
Different views
The copy function works with all views:
Card view - copy individual cards with metrics
Bar chart view - copy the entire chart visualization
Comparative reports - copy comparison data
Just switch to your preferred view and use the same copy process.
Download video assets
Need to add videos to your presentations? Motion lets you download video content in two formats:
Full video asset - the complete video file
GIF version - perfect for showing a preview without playing the whole video
To download:
Select the creative you would like to download
Click the download icon (or right click) on any video creative
Choose between video or GIF format
Wait for the download to generate
Upload to your presentation deck
Share reports with "Snapshots"
When you need to share an entire report with someone who doesn't have access to your Motion account (like clients or creators), use the Snapshot feature:
Click Share Report on any report
Add a description explaining the report's purpose (for example: "These are the top creatives of the past two weeks")
Include any relevant notes
Click Share to generate the link
Note: You cannot generate Snapshot links in Launch analysis reports
The shared report includes:
All report data and visualizations
Table view options
Your custom description
Time frame details
Collaboration features (if sharing with other Motion users, who can comment and tag people)
Pro tip: Customize before sharing
Before sharing a report, customize exactly what recipients will see:
Select specific creatives - uncheck any items you don't want to share (for example, share only the top 3 performers)
Choose metrics - remove unnecessary metrics from the table and card view
Hide tags - toggle off AI tags if they're not relevant
This ensures your shared report aligns with your purpose without overwhelming viewers with unnecessary information.
Managing your shared reports
To view and manage all your shared report links (called Snapshots):
Click on your workspace dropdown menu
Select Snapshots
View all your generated report links
Delete any Snapshots you no longer need
