Getting started with Custom Tags

Tags let you track insights on a creative - tag winners, ads that flopped, new personas, individual team performance, small changes, or big swings.

Tagging allows you to easily organize insights and communicate those with your team, improving your creative testing workflow.

How to set up Custom Tags

To add tags to your creatives, you need to have collaborator access or higher. Guests can still view tags.

Tags are added on the creative asset level. Therefore, they are not added to the specific ad name, but rather the creative asset itself.

To add tags to a creative:

  • Head into any Top Performing report, and select the ad preview (thumbnail).

  • Select a pre-made tag, or create your own. Add multiple tags if needed.

(Optional) Colour code your tags to organize tags further.

Viewing your tags

There are two sections where you will see tags listed. You will see tags under each creative preview, and in its own column in the table chart.

To enable the table chart view toggle show tags column under the table settings.

Filtering reports by tags

Once you’ve created your tags, you’ll then be able to filter both your Top Performing and Comparative reports by those tags.

  • Select Add filter at the top of your report.

  • Choose the tags option, and select the desired tag.

You’ll now see your report filtered for creatives that match the selected tags.

You can build Comparative Analysis reports with tag filters as well:

Deleting tags

You can delete tags in two ways:

  • You can delete a tag within the preview itself.

  • You can delete and edit tags in the editor by selecting the three dots next to one of the listed tags to open the Manage Tags pop-up.

Tagging is only available on some plans. Contact our support team through the chat bubble below for information on getting access!

FAQ
