Share reports and boards with Partner Share Access

Want to share specific reports or boards with clients without giving them full workspace access? Partner Share Access lets you invite partners into their own dedicated organization — where they can only see what you've shared.

How Partner Share Access works

Partner Share Access creates a view-only connection to your reports and boards. When you invite someone as a partner, they create their own organization and immediately get access to the reports and boards you've shared.

Share with a partner

There are a few ways to invite a partner:

From a report:

  1. Open the report you want to share

  2. Click Share Report >> Share with Partner

  3. Choose an existing partner or add a new one

  4. Enter the partner's email address

  5. Select which reports to share (you can pick multiple)

  6. Click Send invitation

From a board:

  1. Open the board you want to share

  2. Click Share Board >> Share with Partner

  3. Choose an existing partner or add a new one

  4. Enter the partner's email address

  5. Select which boards to share

  6. Click Send invitation

From Workspace Settings:

  1. Open your workspace dropdown and click Workspace Settings

  2. Go to the Partner share access tab

  3. Click Add Partner

  4. Enter the partner's email address and select what to share

The partner will receive an email invitation. Once they accept, they'll create their own organization and immediately get access to the reports and boards you've shared.

Manage Partner Share Access

Need to adjust what a partner can see or remove their access entirely? Here's how to manage everything from one place:

  1. Open your workspace dropdown and click Workspace Settings

  2. Go to the Partner share access tab

  3. You'll see your active partner organizations and any pending invitations below

From here, use the Manage dropdown next to any partner to:

  • Manage shared reports — toggle which reports each partner can access

  • Manage shared boards — toggle which boards each partner can access

  • Remove partner — revoke all access immediately

You can also see at a glance how many reports and boards are currently shared with each partner.

What partners can do

Partners who already have an existing account get added to their partner organization automatically. New partners will receive an invitation to create their own account and organization.

Partners can:

  • View live data on shared reports and boards

  • Change metrics, filters, and date ranges to explore the data

  • Invite their own team members to their partner organization

Partners can't:

  • Save any changes they make

  • Affect your original reports or boards in any way

  • Access any reports or boards you haven't explicitly shared

Important limitations

Private domains (one email per domain):

  • You can only invite one person per private email domain (e.g., if you invite [email protected], you can't add another email from @company.com).

Public domains (multiple emails allowed):

  • You can invite multiple addresses from public domains like @gmail.com, since they don't represent a single organization.

Why use Partner Share Access instead of guest access?

Use guest access when you want someone to see everything in your workspace. Use Partner Share Access when you want to share specific reports and boards without giving broader access — like sharing campaign results with a client while keeping other client data private.
