You can send Motion reports directly to Slack, giving your team/clients faster access to what's working and what's not in your ad accounts. Here's how to use it.
Setting up the Slack integration in Motion
Go to the dropdown menu in the top-left >> Workspace settings >> My connections
Choose Connect next to Slack (You might need to ask a Slack Workspace Admin to do this step for you)
You'll see "Connected to Motion" when it's ready to use!
Sending reports as scheduled Slack messages
Now that your Slack connection is set up, when you open any top performing ads report you'll see a Slack icon in the top-right next to your sharing options.
Customize the report as needed (apply filters, add metrics, change date ranges).
When you're ready, click the Slack icon. This opens the Schedule Report menu. Here's what you can customize:
A daily, weekly, or monthly cadences to send a report summary
The time & time zone for delivery
Pick the Slack channel you want to send to
Toggle on/off the AI Insights for your scheduled message.
On = runs the Analyze this report task that breaks down what's working and what's not based on your report for you in the Slack message. (More info here)
Off = a brief summary of the report (name, description, total spend, and top 3 creative) with a link to the report in the Slack message.
Click Schedule to finalize it.

The message will highlight:
Key metrics from your report (spend, avg. ROAS, etc.)
The top 3 ads with their name, launch date, key metrics and thumbnail previews
And a link to open the report in Motion
Super clean way to share updates (without copying links every time!) π
Sending a report as a one-time Slack message
You can also send a report a single time to Slack with the Send now option. Great for quickly sharing.
Deleting scheduled Slack messages
Once you have at least 1 scheduled report message, you can click the Slack icon and the back button to see a list of currently scheduled report messages. You can delete them with the trash icon. ποΈ
