Deleting your organization
To delete your Motion organization, follow these steps:
Log into Motion.
Click the icon in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen
Select Account settings
Under Organization, select Plan and Billing
In the General tab, scroll down and click Delete organization.
Only the account Owner can delete an organization.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting your workspace
To delete a workspace within your organization, follow these steps:
Log in to Motion
Click the workspace drop-down menu (top left)
Select the workspace you want to delete
Click on Workspace settings
Under the General tab, click Delete workspace
⚠️ This action is permanent ⚠️
Deleting a workspace will erase all associated data, saved content, and reports. This data cannot be recovered.
Deleting your user profile
To delete your user profile, you can contact your account Owner or someone with Admin access.
If you are an Admin trying to delete your user profile, reach out to the account Owner or another Admin to delete your user profile.
You can also reach out to Motion support using the chat bubble in the bottom right of your screen!
⚠️ Note ⚠️
If you are the owner of the organization, you will not be able to delete your user profile. This is to prevent accidental deletion of all associated data. Please contact Motion support to proceed.
If you are not an owner, deleting your user profile will remove you from all workspaces and organizations you are a part of.
