Why can't I add the Frequency or Reach metric to my reports?

Unique metrics like Reach and Frequency don’t show in Motion because they’re being deprecated by Meta’s API — this article explains why.

Unique metrics, like Frequency, reach, estimated ad recall rate, and unique clicks cannot be displayed in Motion.

Unique metrics like Reach, Frequency, Estimated Ad Recall Rate, and Unique Clicks are not available as options in Motion reports.

These metrics behave differently from the standard data we pull in. Unlike Spend, impressions, or clicks, unique metrics can't be aggregated after the fact. The numbers Meta returns are only valid for a specific time range and a specific set of ads, which means we can't pre compute or store them the way we do with other metrics.

If you need to review Reach or Frequency for a campaign, you'll want to pull those numbers directly from Meta Ads Manager.
