Custom conversions are a powerful tool for creative teams that want to dig deeper into campaign performance and see exactly how their efforts are paying off. And with Motion, you can easily view those custom conversion metrics to measure what matters most to your business.
Why Set Up Custom Conversions?
Custom conversions help you zoom in on key actions, giving you a better idea of how your campaigns are really performing. Even better? Once they’re set up, you can optimize your ads to target users more likely to take those actions, too!
Motion fully supports custom conversions in our reporting, so you’ll be able to view those metrics directly in your reports once you’ve set them up.

How to Log Standard Events Without Additional Code
If your Meta Pixel is already on your site, you can track standard events using All URL traffic without any extra coding.
Steps:
In Events Manager, go to Custom Conversions and click Create.
Choose All URL traffic as the conversion event.
Set up URL rules to specify actions by filtering URLs using "contains," "doesn't contain," or "equals."
Choose a standard event category for optimization (Meta recommends one, but you can adjust it if needed).
Click Create to log standard events!
After you create your custom conversion, navigate to the page of your website it's referencing to trigger it. Then check the custom conversions tab in Events Manager to see if it worked (status is Active).
Pro Tip: Make sure to test your custom conversion by performing the action on your site (e.g., visiting the page) and checking if it triggers correctly in Events Manager.
